Corvette is not a family car. You can cruise it with your girlfriend or a friend. Gene Swatek who has four girls thought the Corvette should be a car the whole family can enjoy. He took a 1987 Corvette Convertible, cut it in half and made his own steel extension frame members to stretch the Corvette an additional 38 inches.
The rear suicide doors were added as well as the rear leather seats and custom ground effects. The front door opens first, then the rear door can be unlatched from a lever mounted on the frame rail.
